What is Wavelength?
Wavelength is a multiplayer party game where players try to read each other's minds. Each round, a spectrum is shown between two extremes (e.g. "Cold" to "Hot") and a secret target position is placed somewhere on that spectrum. One player gives a clue, and everyone else guesses where the target lands. Play free online with friends — no downloads or sign-ups required. Just share a game code and start playing.
One Psychic Mode (Default)
- One player becomes the Psychic and sees the secret target position on the spectrum.
- The Psychic gives a one-word or short clue that hints at where the target falls on the spectrum.
- All other players are Guessers and try to guess the target position based on the clue.
- Points are awarded based on how close each guess is to the target.
- The Psychic earns the sum of all guesser scores as a bonus for giving a great clue.
One Guesser Mode
- All players except one become Psychics, each with their own spectrum.
- Each Psychic writes a clue for their spectrum.
- The single Guesser sees all the clues and makes one guess per spectrum.
- Everyone scores based on the guesser's accuracy.
Teams Mode
Players are split into two teams. Each team has their own Psychic who gives clues simultaneously. Team members guess together, and the team with the highest combined score wins the round. Teams mode works great for larger groups of 4 or more players.
